michelle hutchinson is a freelance surface and apparel designer who works under the name penelope prince. she recently moved from san francisco to vancouver BC and works as a freelancer for companies all over the US. michelle also runs a blog where she covers different trends currently going on in the market. she aims to create out of the box patterns by really focusing on hand drawn illustrations that range from children's, juniors to womens.  almost every pattern michelle has created comes from an original illustration or painting. see more online at penelope prince.
