masaru suzuki is a japanese designer who is probably best known as a freelance designer for marimekko. but masaru also has his own fabric label called OTTAIPNU who produce vivid hand printed fabrics. here I have picked out a few of my favourite fabrics, which include a recent umbrella exhibition, but you can also find more online here at OTTAIPNU.

These designs are absolutely gorgeous. So colourful. I think the umbrellas are particularly lovely - a great way of cheering yourself up when it's raining this summer...

Love the imperfections! The way the prints look less digital and more traditional :) Over lapping edges are my favourite.
