To celebrate their 150th birthday John Lewis have delved into their archives and revived a selection of pattern designs on products such as wrapping paper, cushions, and purses. The first John Lewis store opened in 1864 in Oxford Street, London and we can expect more events later in the year that focus on the retailer’s design heritage and history. Designers and members of the public can also view John Lewis' textile archive for research or licensing purposes see here for details.
