DESIGNER - jacqueline colley

Jacqueline Colley is a textile designer based in Hackney, London. who began working as a children's wear designer in 2008. However a year ago Jacqueline decided to go freelance and also started to create her own stationery products and home textiles. Jacqueline’s prints are focused on nature and ecosystems, submerging the viewer into a variety of natural worlds. The ‘Cacti’ and ‘Succulent’ prints are from a range inspired by "Les Jardins Majorelle" which lie just outside the Medina of Marrakech. Working from photographs taken in the gardens she created detailed elements which capture the colour and lush dynamism of those tropical gardens.
