KIDS DESIGN - hesperoo

Hesperoo is the studio label of designer Hannah Dennis who designs, makes and sells her products under the label 'hesperoo'. Whilst on maternity leave Hannah discovered the joy in making clothes and toys for her daughter (the real Hesper Roo) and also taught herself screen printing. Hannah has since made the move to digitally-printed fabrics and created cushions, lampshades and tea-towels. For 2016 she has launched a new range of character cushions that are both modern and cute in bright fresh colours which are perfect for a nursery, children's room or any happy contemporary home. She is inspired by her daughter’s playful imagination and has a fondness for her retro toys and book illustrations. She has even played a part in the designing and naming of the characters! Hannah plans to extend this range to include wall prints, cards, fabric repeats and to also add new characters and colours. Hannah is also keen to source materials that are either ethically-sourced or support UK businesses. Her fabric is printed by a small family-run business in the UK and the soft flannel backing fabric is from a small UK-based company who source ethically-produced organic fabric.
