WALL ART - mel smith

Designer Mel Smith has created some beautiful posters as part of her new Summer In The City range, a collection of geometric prints that are an abstract vision of cityscapes.  Mel had a lot of fun playing around with these designs and loved the mid-century style that emerged from the overlaid textures, and the summery palette gave what could be a drab industrial illustration a fresh, buoyant vibe. The collection started as part of Lilla Rogers MATS class and Janine from Uppercase picked Mel's Office Blocks design as one of the final 11 in a brief to design a magazine cover, Each pattern is available now as an art print in Mel's Etsy store.
