BOLOGNA TRIP - round-up

These are a few final snaps from last weeks Italian trip. It begins with a series of souvenirs which were the result of a design competition to create a new identity for the city. Out of over 500 entries this was the winning creation from Matteo Bartoli and Michele Pastore. The geometric shapes are taken from elements of the Bologna's historic shields, crests, and heraldry emblems.









I also noted that colouring books were also big in Bologna - as they are here in the UK.












And finally below are various snaps of patterns that caught my eye around the city.
