Today we are celebrating the work of UK card publishers Pennychoo. The company was founded by London based designer Sue Lee and all her designs are inspired by vintage resources. One of Pennychoo's latest ranges is Lanyon a beautiful mid-century modern themed collection inspired by artists including the abstract paintings of Peter Lanyon. Sue also looked at the simple shapes of Henry Moore, the wire and string patterns of Barbra Hepworth, and Graham Sutherland's organic textures. Besides cards the Lanyon range also includes wrapping paper and prints. Pennychoo designs are available in various stockists, and wholesale or retail online here.
Also from Pennychoo comes 'Big Top' a vintage circus style collection of birthday cards and art prints which can be purchased framed or unframed online here.
I also love these stylised fruit designs as blank cards from the Primavera range..
And of course with Mother's Day on the 26th March Pennychoo also have cards and wrapping paper just right for Mum's who like vintage florals.

Thankyou very much! It's so great to be featured on here – one of the very few blogs I come back to time and again...
