DESIGNER FOR HIRE - megan carter

The Designers for Hire Directory has a new entry this week as we welcome Megan Carter. Megan began exploring her love of creating patterns two years ago whilst balancing her part time job as a greetings card designer at UK Greetings and looking after her two children. Since then, she has built a bold, stylised collection of designs which are unique to her love of drawing flowers and her attraction to vintage textiles and paraphernalia. In contrast to her graphic patterns, Megan has an illustrative, looser  handwriting where she focuses on animals, flowers, pattern and characters which have been more of a focus in her greetings card concepts. After eighteen years of experience of working as an in-house designer both for Hallmark Cards and Uk Greetings, Megan is now starting 2019 in a new direction, dedicating her career to working as a free-lance designer. She is open to new projects and collaborations and is excited to apply her designs to any new product areas.
