DESIGNER FOR HIRE - kirsty mason

I am really pleased to see a new entry in our Designers for Hire guide today. Kirsty Mason is a surface pattern designer, illustrator and small business owner based in Eccleshall, Staffordshire. Kirsty set up her business shortly after having her daughter, Edie and in-between changing nappies and running around after a wild toddler Kirsty taught herself Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. She slowly started designing fun, colourful, retro inspired illustrations aimed at children. Kirsty wanted to design something a little bit different to 'what’s out there', after struggling to find artwork for her daughters room that she loved. She then progressed and taught herself how to design surface patterns after following her passion to create designs for fabric, wallpaper and other products. Her print designs are fun, colourful with a retro twist and Kirsty is now looking to license her designs and illustrations with companies, big and small and would also be open to collaborations with brands.
