We have a new entry in the Designers for Hire Directory today - Jeannine Rundel, aka Neenie. Jeannine is a married mother of two grown up boys who lives in Devon along with 2 dogs, 3 horses and 3 alpacas. She has never had any formal art training despite loving art. After getting married she took a job in the Devon office of a babywear company just to tide things over whilst her husband trained to be a solicitor. She was lucky enough to move up through the company and ended up designing babywear for the likes of Mothercare. She later decided to go freelance and began to create designs for various greetings card companies, including Second Nature. She also has representation from Advocate Art. Last year Jeannine enrolled in a few online courses with the fabulous 'Make it in Design' which she says has reinvigorated her career and led to a slight change in direction. Jeannine realised that her illustrative strength lay with designs for children and she loves creating new artwork aimed at the baby/kids' market. In keeping with this new direction she named her studio 'Neenie'. Jeannine is available for commissions or to work freelance for studios etc. and has a lot of work available for licensing/sale. She would love to see her artwork on baby/kids' wear or nursery decor/accessories and would be delighted to hear from anyone who's interested in a fast, reliable and prolific worker.
