Belma Kapetanovic originally trained as a graphic designer in Toronto, Canada but soon realised that the graphic sensibility of her work translated very well to textiles. This prompted Belma to pursue an MA in Textile Design at the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London where she is now based. We last featured her on Print & Pattern in 2011 and after that she exhibited and sold her own interior products (rugs and wallpaper) at trade shows such as the London Design Fair and 100% Design. Recently Belma has taken a step back from selling her own products to focus on freelance surface pattern design work for a wider range of product categories and styles.
