Nestbox is the creative studio of Jill Burns, a surface designer and illustrator who today joins the P&P Designers for Hire Directory.  Jill began her career designing ceramics for the home and gift markets and recently expanded to include broader applications such as stationery and fabrics. Her motifs are inspired by antique curiosities. Seemingly disparate objects such as a folk art birdcage, vintage perfume bottle or a Japanese spinning top are all sources for ideas. Her distinctive illustrative and gestural style runs the gamut of stylish and sophisticated to cheeky and fun. Jill has a comprehensive portfolio available for licensing or purchase, but she also loves the challenge of freelance projects.
