WALLPAPER - krista skytta for muse

Designer Krista Skytta has created a new collection, inspired by her love of candy, for the Muse Wall Studio. Her prints bring a cheerful, carefree vibe to any room. "It's so important to not take yourself (or your house) too seriously" Krista says. "Fun wallpaper reminds me that our home is meant to be enjoyed (kids' messes and all), not to look like a showroom". Although the wallpaper is peel and stick so it's no big deal when you're ready for something new!

Krista spent hours creating different patterns using of sweets bought from a local candy store and used the  colours, shapes, and textures of the candies to build her wallpaper designs. If you look closely, you can spot the different elements mixed into her prints. The candy wallpapers are perfect for an accent wall, and Krista used her gumball print in her own office so all clients see it on a video call and it's even worked out as a fun background for virtual school for Krista's daughter.
