A new artist has joined the Designers for Hire Directory today! Laurie L Thomas of Decisive Origin is a proud graduate of the Ringling College of Art and Design and is currently based in Sarasota Florida. Laurie has devoted every year since leaving college to surface pattern design. Her work for the last 8 years spans both home and apparel; with original prints, patterns, and graphics.
Her art ranges from hand-painted watercolour to digital illustration, finding a space in multiple markets combining her love of fashion and Illustration. Comfortable drawing all sorts of motifs and working with both bright colour pallets and minimalist tones, her art always has a sense of vibrant movement that catches the eye. She’s available for contract, collaboration work, or provide CAD support to help make deadlines.
