I'm so pleased to introduce another Designer for Hire today. Joanna Plucknett is a Polish ex-merchant navy officer with a creative soul living in beautiful southern England with her family, in a happy place surrounded by rich vegetation, which is an endless source of inspiration to me.
Joanna's style can be described as playful, natural, imperfect. Drawing from the abundance and organic beauty of nature which stuns her every morning in the same way as it did when she used to set foot on land for the first time after months at sea.
She uses organic shapes and plenty of colour. Joanna loves to create charming designs that bring joy into daily life, lift up the mood and make ordinary objects a little more special. Every print starts as an original, organic work of art and is then carefully digitalised into a useful vector design. She specialises in repeat patterns for any kind of application.
Joanna is looking for opportunities to collaborate on projects big and small, commissions and licensing of existing work.
