Heidi Vilkman is a talented illustrator and pattern designer originally from Finland but now based in Yorkshire, England. Her pattern designs always start as hand-drawn sketches and every design is made with inspiration from her Nordic childhood, nature, travel and her limitless imagination. Heidi grew up in a Finnish forest and spent her time exploring the flora and fauna and peeking in the little hidey-holes, looking for, and believing in, fairies. She hopes a little sprinkling of this magic is in all her work.
