NEW WORK - maggie magoo designs

It’s been a while since designer Carole Fenwick was on the blog, and she’s expanded her Maggie Magoo Designs range of products in that time to include greetings cards, washi tape, pin badges & wooden decorations, as well as tea towels, prints, notebooks. You can buy her work on her website and Etsy. She also sells wholesale & is stocked in independent shops around the world.

Carole’s designs are heavily inspired by nature and the treasures she finds when out walking her dog, Maggie. (Yes, the business is named after her lovely terrier!) You can often see cute little minibeasts or folk inspired floral motifs in her beautiful patterns.
There is so much fun and creativity in her illustrations. If you’re looking for quirky and colourful gifts or you need a bold greetings card then Maggie Magoo Designs is where you need to be. Recently there have been quite a few new designs in the Maggie Magoo greetings card range including a full range of age birthday cards from the ages of one to nine and then eighteen to eighty! Her newest range is influenced by a love of typography and circus themed lettering and the bright and bold colours are sure to catch your eye.
There have also been some more explorations into stationery, with a new bundle illustrated with the cutest caterpillars, bugs and butterflies, available to buy on her website and Etsy.

Whether you are looking for more traditional and folk art themed Christmas cards or you prefer them to be brightly coloured and bold, Carole is sure to have a design that you fall in love with. Browse her full range of Christmas cards here and get stocked up for the festive season.

As well as running her business, designing and producing her own products, Carole works as a freelance designer and currently has a large range of greetings cards, wrapping paper and gift bags in Marks & Spencer.

More recently, she’s one of the designers in the new ‘Introducing’ card range from Tesco. There’s a photo of Carole & her dog Maggie on the back of each card along with a mini bio & her contact details. It’s great to see one of the grocers supporting & promoting independent designers.

Her most recent project has been working on her first colouring book, 'Maggie Maggoo’s Amazing Alphabet' which will be published by Batsford in June 2023.
