Cumbria based artist and Designer for Hire, Claire Wilson has been a very busy little bee this year, working hard behind the scenes on several signature ranges for various card publishing houses as well as creating lots of lovely new and on trend designs to fill her licensing portfolio. With designs for everyday occasions, birthdays, patterns and of course Christmas, Claire has an extensive collection to choose from.
Her ideas are often rough sketched in pencil by hand before being scanned into the computer where she brings them to life in full colour. Claire’s work is bright and colourful, featuring lots of lovely little details and finishes. Her love of lettering and typography is also evident in her licensing portfolio as she skilfully creates a wide range of modern and contemporary hand lettering for a variety of uses.
