NEW SEASON - donna wilson

early september saw donna wilson unveiling her new autumn winter season collection at maison e objet in paris. along with new cushions and blankets, she has also added lots of new wares for the table - their first full range of dinnerware, decorated glass, new screenprinted cotton placemats and napkins, and melamine trays printed with donna’swatercolour paintings.

FABRICS - steffie brocoli / cloud9

cloud9 fabrics have released a new fabric collection created by steffie brocoli called 'in the forest'. steffi is a designer and illustrator based in paris who works on children's books and creates handmade cards, prints, and more. there are nine patterns in the cloud9 collection which will be in shops from feb 2013. find out more about steffie and her work online here or visit cloud9 for more on her fabrics.

DESIGNER - w:form

wenche nevalainen runs a danish design company called w:form. wenche exhibited her new collection 'elephant & apple' at the formex fair in stockholm, sweden in august. after positive feedback, she decided to put her design in production, along with her circus themed collection. you can see more online here at w:form.

TEXTILES - gudrun sjödén

gudrun sjödén is swedish brand which has been around for over 30 years and has just opened their first store in london (as well as being available to by online). co-founded by gudrun and björn sjödén in 1976, gudrun is still the creative director and the design force behind the brand which she runs with a strong eco-conscience. she also takes off every monday and tuesday to paint, creating original pattern and print every season. if you're in london you'll find the new store at 65-67 monmouth street.
