as this years trade show season kicks off (this month with printsource new york and top drawer london) i thought i'd take a look on flickr at the various ways people set out their stands (booths as their known in the US). not just trade shows either - i love to look at pictures of craft fairs as well and see how people lay out their wares. i found these pictures from clare nicolson in her flickr sets. clare is a member of the glasgow craft mafia and as well as laying out a beautiful stall at all their events she also designs their flyers. below are two photos of her stunning display at a previous top drawer show.
another company i admire is rock scissor paper - so it was great to see their stands uploaded onto flickr at various shows. so colourful and packed with goodies.

Hello - Do you know of any craft fairs coming up in London this year? Really love your blog by the way :D
I love it!!!!
These pics are great, maybe will be worth having a nosey thru flickr later on today. WE also have a craft mafia in Nottingham too, just opened before Christmas and we have a lovely little shop, called Get Made, great to be part of this craft mafia movement. Very exciting opportunities me thinks!
thank you for all the great stuff you show on you´re blog.

I really love your blog. Beautiful things, patterns and colors. Congratulations!
Thanks for featuring the pix of our Rock Scissor Paper booth at the NY Gift Fair. We always put a lot of work into our displays and have so much fun doing it, as well!
This year we started sharing pictures of all the different trade show booths and craft fair displays that we create on Flickr and have had a terrific response from people who are not even in our industry. I would love if more companies did the same...especially since we all put so much effort into these (and they only exist for a couple of days)
Happy New Year to all!
What a fun site to stumble upon. I remember making pom poms with my girl scout troop as a kid. I think we attached them to bookmarks.
Thanks for the memories.
