TV SERIES - the genius of design
for UK readers (or those with access to the bbc) it might be worth watching a new tv series which starts tonight on BBC2 at 7pm. the genius of design looks at the history of design and how it has shaped our lives. im not sure how much textile or surface design will be featured, but i hope to see icons such as william morris and lucienne day. fingers crossed. there is also a book to accompany the series written by penny sparke and published here by quadrille.

thanks for the heads up. I will definitely have a look. By the way, non-brits might be able to watch it on the BBC iPlayer tomorrow if you link it.
