urban outfitters have an exclusive home collection featuring the work of legendary illustrator david weidman available this summer. the limited-edition range includes printed decorative pillows and canvas wall art reproductions of original serigraphs that depict trees, birds, and other elements of nature. "when i did this work 45 years ago, very few people understood what the graphic approach to picture making was all about," says weidman, now 89. "i am pleased that it is being appreciated by a new generation." priced between $38 and $48, the collection is in stores and online this month and a second drop of three new pillows plus two more wall art pieces will be available in august. i've had david weidman's book (below) on my wishlist for a while now and have finally ordered it to check out more of his work. see it here on amazon uk or amazon usa.
