DESIGNER - patricia bomeny

patricia bomeny is a brazilian designer from rio de janeiro. after having worked as graphic designer for three years, patricia became inspired by the fashion world and became a textile print designer living and working in new york. before moving to the united states, patricia worked as a senior print textile designer at la estampa one of the leading textile companies in brazil, where she designed prints for children’s and women’s wear for many mid-to-up market clients. now living in brooklyn patricia has been working for many brazilian fashion brands as a freelancer and has been attending SVA (school of visual arts), taking courses such as color theory and hand sketching to enhance her skills. patricia says the fact that she is from brazil, a tropical country known for its passionate people and vibrant colors, has influenced her to use more organic elements because the vivid colors and the natural features reflect the moods and personalities of the wearers.
