It is a busy time for Sarah Campbell again at the moment with huge interest in her current designs and her archives - reviving those made with Collier Campbell. Currently running at the Fashion & Textile Museum in London is an exhibition of the designs Sarah and her late design partner Susan Collier created for Liberty. One of the designs to Feature is this 1972 print called Bauhaus which has also been used to create a brand new 'Geo Range' of products. The hand-painted abstract design was inspired by the geometric patterns of the 1930's and features a colourful mix of plum, pink, sand, green, yellow and turquoise. As seen online here at Collier Campbell, and the London exhibition runs until February next year.
Sarah Campbell meanwhile continues to design under her own name as a solo artist and for Spring Summer 2016 she will be launching a new product range with Magpie called Viva. Here is a sneak preview and I will look forward to seeing more of this collection in the future.
