I was a really big fan of designer Lucy Tiffney when she appeared on the BBC/Netflix show The Great Interior Design Challenge and was totally willing her to win. Sadly she didn't come first but Lucy did set up her own design studio in 2016 creating the most beautiful painted designs, and she has also appeared on TV show Money for Nothing. What I wanted to showcase today (and I am very late in doing so) is Lucy's collaboration with Debenhams which launched in March 2020 just before the Corona Virus lockdown. Debenhams teamed up with Lucy to create an exclusive cook and dine collection described as an “explosion of colour and joy”. It features a colourful botanical print in her signature hand-painterly style on tea pots, plates, tea towels, storage tins, mugs and serving dishes.The Debenhams x Lucy Tiffney collection is available in 80 stores in the UK and a few pieces are still online.
