KIDS DESIGN - paul farrell

I am a huge admirer of the designer Paul Farrell so I was really pleased to get hold of his latest project. 'Build a Castle' is the first in a series of illustrated architectural card build sets designed by Paul and published by Pavilion Books. There are 64 cards in the box featuring bricks, flags, windows, arches, etc, and you can create your own configuration using the slot-together system to build up and out in any way you like. I loved the bold graphic style that put me in mind of Dick Bruna or 60's/70's Galt toys. There are more designs to follow, with the next one being 'Build a Skyscraper' in September.
